The school’s library was created in 1828. Ever since, it has conserved a collection of works specialized in veterinary and agro-food sciences, some of which dating back from the 16th century. Although meant for professionals, the library is open to the public.
The collection is composed of around 34,000 documents (26,800 veterinary theses among which 16,900 are listed in the Archipel catalogue, 5,000 recent books and around 2,900 books published between the 16th and the 19th centuries).
The school’s library has been working in partnership with the Service Commun de la Documentation of the Institut National Polytechnique de Toulouse (INPT) since 2010.
It is also a member of the Archipel network gathering the university libraries of the Midi-Pyrénées region.
