IRSD
The general objectives of the IRSD as a research institute are:
To develop new strategies for the diagnosis and treatment of digestive diseases.
To provide a productive, and innovative training environment.
To foster collaborations and interactions within the institute and outside of the institute.
The strategy is a comprehensive approach of digestive health: physiology, physiopathology, medical and molecular bacteriology, pharmacology, cell biology, epidemiology, immunology, neurosciences, genetics.
Facilities include experimental surgery and organoïds.
Intestinal physiopathology, host-bacteria interactions, antibioresistances.
Team 1 : Pathophysiology of intestinal epithelium (N. VERGNOLLE).
Team 2 : Pathogenesis and commensalism of enterobacteria (E. OSWALD).
Team 3 : Neuro-immune intestinal interactions (G. DIETRICH).
Team 4 :Intestinal barrier functions : initiation and regulation (F. BARREAU).
Team 5 : Genetics and regulation of iron metabolism (H. ROTH et H. COPPIN).
